SurfCity/SantaCruz Kiwanis foundation is organized and operated exclusively for charitable and educational purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The primary objectives and purposes of this corporation shall be to raise funds to be used for community and youth services. Included are lessening of neighborhood tensions, promotion of human and spiritual values, combating community deterioration, juvenile delinquency and advancement of medical science.SurfCity/SantaCruz Kiwanis foundation will sponsor fund raising activities such as a crab feed, a western dance and a calamari booth at a local festival. Volunteers will operate these events. Charitable funds generated from these events will be increased by donations from local companies and individuals.
